The gaskets look absolutely great when out of the package. They have a very smoothsemi polished surface and will create a perfect seal. These are the only type exhaust gaskets we sell at our store. These are a true Pro Series style gasket, very suitable on street/strip and marine applications. This is an introductory offer. The price will most likely increase soon. These are suitable for oem cast iron heads, as well as most aftermarket heads. The picture clearly shows the port design. The multi layers design is also used in many other applications, such as head gaskets, etc. Gaskets with multi layers, have the unique ability to allow the heads and exhaustto expand and contract at different rates without distorting the gaskets. The Dodge Viper uses such an exhaust gasket. They are made of several layers of very thin stainless steel, costingaround $150.00 per pair.
